Regardless of brand - follow Skitzotic's advice - whatever nute/pesticide/anything you put in or on your plants should be food-grade (like tomato and vegetable).

Roses are not food - so unless it says food grade - i would not recommend it. i say this since you will be (hopefully) smoking and otherwise ingesting your end product.

Im not sure if it would be good to use in a hydro system. Im sure it would be if u could find a good amout to put in at a time as they are little rocks and are made to dissapate over time. But to me it seems Like it would be good for flowering as the npk is 9-12-12 which means its high in phospate and potassium. Which sounds like what you need. I dont know if you;d want to use this stuff before flowering though. Even though it does have good Nitrogen. As far as i know alot of Phospate isnt good for Veg.

hydro nutrients is obviously better for hydro. but that doesn't really answer the question.

our answers probably should have been prefaced with... while hydro nutrients are far superior to use in a hydro system...
