hi smokers. iv just bought an atami wilma hydro system and im about to start my growing experiance.i have a few questions if i may...
first my friend as some cuttings from jack herer strain,but hes grown em in soil.will i be ok to use em in my hydro set up. secend how exactly do i get em from cutting to putting em in my system.and last what are the best cloning treatments to buy and which nutriants are best when i start to grow in my system.thanks

Not familiar with the system youre using but youll have to get most of the dirt off em. I just did a bunch of tomato plants in 4" pots. Fill a bucket with water , take the plant out of the pot and while supporting it carefully swish the roots around in the water. Youre gonna decimate the root system no matter how careful you are and it will benefit from reduced light levels for a while. Might be better to start over with new clones on rockwool cubes.

You can do a hydro setup with soil in it...it just is a pain if the dirt comes out of the pot. If they are clones then they should be in small containers, so there shouldn't be too much dirt to worry about. You could just put them into the hydroton of what ever medium you're using. But a little swish to get some of the dirt of will be fine. Make sure you use some sort of B vitamins(I like thrive alive B1 Green bottle) to use as a soak before you transplant them.
