would you guys be good to me and let me know the best starting ppm levels for my nute mixture is? i'm using foxfarm in a 1 gallon if that means anything

seed to 1 week

1 week to 4 weeks

adult plant to flowering

what should the ppms in my solution be before adding at each of these points and when it falls to what number when should i change it?

With my 1st grow i used the instuctions on my fertz container but used 10 % of the recomened amount for my seedling then slowly raised it up to the recomened amount.

I try to keep my seedlings and clones at about 100-250 ppms. After about 10 days I bump up the ppm to around 500-600 ppm for the next 2-3 weeks. After about a month I raise it to 800-1000 ppm. When I start to bud I am at around 1000 and start taking it up slowly to no more than 1500 ppm. I don't suggest going past 1300 till you have a couple crops down.

does that mean that you set them at 250 and then when they get to 100 do a res change or add more? same question for 500-600, 1000-800

i changed the water evry time i changed my newts but i dont see why you cant add more newts to raise the ppm to the desired amount..I do not have a ppm meter so there for it was easier for me to change the lot and also probley better to change the lot as well.

I change my water everytime i change my nutes - in a 10 gallon res change every 10 days (adding fresh water until day 10 to top off). In the Aerogarden, i change the water every 7 days, topping off with fresh water until day 7.

I've been reading about Lucas and the Lucas formulas... found a kick ass thread. Lots of reading, but very very helpful
