Can the same foam disk principle used for some aeroponic cloners be used on a slightly larger scale to flower plants? Say I built a micro sog using an aeroponic tub, and simply cut 15 holes into the lid and put in large foam disks, say 2.5in wide and 1-2.5in tall, tapered of course. Would it support plants that would be going straight from clones to to flowering, no veg time? I'm guessing final height of maybe 2 feet on a 6 to 10 week cycle.

So basically a scaled up aero cloner for flowering, with the same easy to use foam disks. I'm thinking it would make a perpetual micro sog dead simple.

Anyone have any input?

Sounds like a nice idea... Indeed it could make things easier for the grower but there surely are drawbacks to it instead of a normal hydro setup. Again i am not sure about any of this cause i never used it before... But does anyone have any input? I am also interested to hear!
