Default When to start feeding seedlings.

Hi.

Bit of a basic one. I have never grown seeds before so i'm not sure of a few things.
I have searched for the last few hours for info, but haven't found the answers I'm looking for.

My Set up.

I have 10 Seedlings (5x Ice 5x Papaya) just poped the serface.
They are under a 125Watt CFL in a "Dutch Barn" reflector.
The bulb is around 4" from the plants.
Temps are at 23.6c
They are growing in, "Root Riot" cubes which have been placed into pots filled with 50/50 Perlight/Vermiculite mix.

In around 2 weeks, 5 will be moved to a diffent location, and the over five will stay here. I plan to grow in Hempy buckets and I'm aiming for 1 good mouther plant.

I am wondering:

1) When will I start feeding

2) What strenth

I start feeding 25% nutes
as soon as the roots appear.

If they got roots, they can use nutes.

The nute load you use
should be dependent on how much light you have.

If you have high intensity lighting,
then you can use more nutes.

Even with the best light,
staying under 80% nute loads,
will benefit your plants, and pocket book.

Green Man...First off, your 50/50 growing medium has zero nutrition, and you'll have to supply them for your plants to survive and thrive. Start low as Earl said, 25% should be perfect. and only increase as your plants mature.
Is your cfl for the seedlings only?

Hi, thanks for the addvice. I have a few more questions, expanding on what you have told me. I also posted some pics.

"Is my CFL for the seedlings only"

Yes.

5 Seeds are for a friend.
I was hoping that it would be enough light to keep my 5 seeds going untill I can micro sex them, I will then get rid of the males, at this piont I will pick the two strongest plants, and keep them going under the light.
In 6 or 7 weeks I will then take cuttings from my faverret or both.
The cuttings will go into my DWC system.

I have a 400MH for vegging and 400HPS for flowing, the idea is that I will have a stong healthy mother plant ready to produce cuttings, when my current crop is harvested.

I also have 2x 35W CFLs, I was thinking of adding them lower down in the box to help incurage dense growth, I was also thinking of topping or training the plants to keep them low. But I gess that won't be for a few weeks yet.

I would like to use this light to keep the mouther alive.

So you think I should start feeding now, but real weak.

If I use rain water, (Hard boil it first) it's pretty close to 0 PPM, what nutes should I use:

My veg nutes?
At this piont is it worth using anything like, Canna Zym or Liquid Silica?
I also have a marco Nute, that is much milder in NPK, would this be of any benifit?

I should aim for maybe 140PPM for this first week?

The plant in pic two seems to have gotten stuck inthe cube, everything else seems to be growing well.
All the seeds poped in 24 hours, I transplanted them and 12 hours later they where all above the surface, except this one.
