Size of pots question, also aero to drip question.
I am thinking of switching from 10 inch mesh to 5 inch mesh baskets in 5 gallon buckets. Would that change effect the plants? I would obviously make the switch at the beginning of a cycle from clones on. Right now I am using 10 inch mesh baskets
Also, if I veg with aero till they are 2 feet tall and then move them into 2 drip lines running 24/7 for flower, would that work??

I went from 6inch mesh to 2.5 inch mesh in 5Gal buckets...... only difference I noticed is I can organize more sites on top of a bucket ..... they grew the same.

I use 2" netpots from clone to harvest in aero and dwc.

Ok, if that works, why am I using 10 inch netpots with a 6 inch rockwool cube with hydroton?

Experience! I use no media, only netpots and collars. Nothing to clean, just toss them. A total of 13¢ per plant.

exactly why I went to a smaller diameter.... less money on hydroton, it aint cheap thats for sure!
