I just did a bunch of cuttings last week..They are still green and healthy looking under the dome, but they are not rooting. I had been told at one time you need a heating pad under tray....Is that why they are not rooting???
Can they still be saved??? The cubes are starting to dry out some..

I posted almost the same question about a month ago. My clones were a week old and no signs of roots yet. Are you giving them at least 6 hours of dark? I also went out and bought a heating pad. About a week later I saw the first signs of roots. It's been about a month and the last two just started to root last week.
I don't know if it was the heating pad that did the trick or not, but I do know that it did help to make the temp in the dome a little higher and increase humidity, which are both important factors for clones. So yes, give them more time and get a heating pad if it doesn't set you back too much. Eventually I will invest in an aeroponics clone machine. They root a hell of a lot faster in those. |
