I have been using the aerogarden for about 8 months now, experimenting with different nutrients and light situations. My plant was doing great, then it def. caught a disease and died. My new plant seems to be doing well, I experimented with Hesi Hygro Grow nutrients. Is this the right type of nutrients I should be using? I question this because the leaves are strong but not a strong green color, more of a light green color. Ive calculated the right amount of hesi nutrients, along with using the aerogarden growth tablets---every 2 weeks. I would like to know other aerogarden users' techniques that have been successful. Appreciate the input, will add pics soon. Also, i want to order seeds online, but am a bit afraid too. what website do u guys recommend?

Hey one last thing. I got everything you told me to get.. extra lights etc. But for the closet job what do you do about the head thats created?

Sounds like your CFL's re shot .. They are useless after 6 months of use ,, I would replace the ones in the hood and start out with fresh ones .. they dont last forever ... Good luck

a small fan will do just fine .. I have mine set up at a friends house , In a closet and i have the deluxe hood (3 lights) and 12 cfl's and Ive had no problems
