After reviewing almost all the hydro/aero threads, like 500 pages and blurry eyed I choose the bubbletronics. I have a total space of 27" X 44" x 92 and have yet to purchase any lighting other than what comes with the unit, should I make more space, or will this work? I hope to get at least 3 to 4 plants.
SH Hydroponics > Dual Spectrum Bubbleponics™ Complete Kit It has been many years since I have attempted this so I would appreciate any new help I can get along the way. I have purchased nutes = http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/hydrofeed.pdf I would like at least a 400 MH for veg and 400 HPS for flowering, is that too much? I plan for some ventillation but how much (cfm) I will be venting to an underground space with plenty of area? Is ther any special equipment I should purchase other than what comes with the system? Those store bought tubs are good for lettuce.
You can use that size tub for two weed plants. I imagine the nute schedule is for lettuce or tomatos also. I highly recommend AN Sensi grow A&B and AN Connoisseur for flower. These nutes are very plant specific. DWC is most sensitive to rez temps. If you can keep the rez temp 68-66º then you will have a easy grow. Enzymes, fulvic and humic acid, B-52, & Barricade, will add to the plants overall health and yield. Go to walmart, to buy all the stuff you need, like the tub, and powerhead/airpump. Then get on ebay and order the nutes and hydroton, net pots, coco plugs, & lights and now your growing hydro lika pro. . |

Im growing in a closet about the same size maybe a tiny bit bigger, witha 400MH veg and a 400HPS Flower. Great light for the space, but I wish I had a cool tube or some over sort of air cooled hood, it would have made my life so much easyer, I will be getting one on my next grow.

Thanks for the help, alot has changed since I grew in the late 70s, never even heard of hydroponics till I got out of the service, found this site and back in the game.
These cool bulbs you speak of, any links for info? I was looking at a combo MH/HPS unit for ease of use, any ideas? I will build a simple vent system with some computer fans. What were your temps/RH with no fans? What is the optimum enviroment I will need to maintain in the grow zone? Any help from the wide knowledge base of this forum would be greatly appreciated from a nub. |
