help with house and garden nutes
So lets say you start with mixing nutes for three gallons, and move up to ten gallons. If you are mixing the same amount per gallon isnt the ppm about the same as if you only had three gallons? Now the question is so when I step up to the ten gallons and top off over the week do the ppm's stay higher through the course of the week due to a larger batch of res water? Would this effect the outcome or health of a plant?

The easy way is go just go by PPM. What stage are you in? I would just keep adding fertilizer according to directions until the PPM is where you want it, rather than measuring out so much per gallon. Makes things a lot simpler.
When you are bringing your PPM up, do it bit by bit. Err on the side of caution.

Generally 3 gallons ppm should be pretty close to the same as 10 or 20, if everything dosage per gallon is the same i.e. 5ml per gallon, 1 or 100 if kept in ratio of ml per gallon ppm should be equal.
This could vary a little, and measuring with a meter by ppm is a safer bet then per ml or whatever but once u have it dialed in you should be pretty good to go.

Ok looks like I need a ppm meter. Would this explain leafs tips curling down and a blotchy yellowish in my fan leafs. I keep ph at 5.9. I have been running the reg schedule for h and g at the recommended dosage per gallon. I am at week 5 of the 8 week flower schedule now. Thanks for the help
