    I wanna try my 1st hempy bucket style grow. I plan on using a 2ltr bottle for my 1st try. so I wanted to know how often do I need to water if I use a container like that? should I use 100% perlite or just hydroton for grow medium? I will be growing under cfl lighting. any help would be great.

    In my experience, 100% perlite did wonders. I used 2 gal and 5 gal buckets and had great luck starting the girls in 16 oz. cups and transplanting into the larger buckets. I know...it's a huge no-no but it worked out for me. I'm trying some 2-liter grows soon, so I have little experience, but I'm looking forward to the experiment. Look in the forums for hempy threads. There are some excellent directions and suggestions there. Good luck!

    Just completed a run of 2L hempy. 3:1 Perlite:Vermiculite.

    jokes ... I havent been around to feed much so they were getting fed only every 6-7 days with non PH'ed or EC'ed feed. By the end the leaves looked terrible, most had shrivelled. The bud itself was probably the most resinous so far. I wasnt expecting such good results.

    Hempy's are Great! Your gonna love it.. If your gonna grow in a 2 liter, then I assume you are expecting to grow a small plant. I grow in 3 gallon buckets and drop clones into 2 liters, they are fun. I am working on my new batch of clones that will go into 2 liters in a couple of weeks after I get some roots going.

    I have run 100% Perlite and a 3-1 mix of Perlite, Vermiculite, and the mix gets watered every other day. The 100% Perlite was watered daily, and really did well.
