Default Nute burn and deficiency at same time?!?
Ok, so my plants are all showing signs of nute burn. Two out of three of them are also having the bottom leaves go from green to pale yellow, kinda splotchy but not intraveinal. These leaves then dry up and die. I'm using the GH feed schedule and they are baggers from decent beasters.

So how can a plant simultaneously have nute burn and also display the signs of nitrogen deficiency?

Over watering right? I thought of that a week ago, dialed down the watering schedule to 3x 15 min a day, and i'm still losing foilage from the bottom. Now i'm starting to get scared. Sorry I don't have a camera.

how often are you watering? what water are you using? it's possible the dying leaves on the bottom are from over watering. and if thats the case then they are getting nute burn because they are getting too much water.

Yeah I addressed that in the first post. I don't believe that it's overwatering. I used to have 4 x 15 min. a day. For the last week i've been on 3x, and the yellowing of the leaves is still progressing. Unless that is still too much, then I need to know what else it could be. There is plenty of nutes, for sure, but it still looks like a nitro deficiency. The pH in the reservior is 6. I don't know what's going on here.

in hydro what you discribe is nute lock out.is your water from the tap or reverse os?if it is from the tap be sure to leave it sit for a min.of 24 hours then ph it to 5.9 add to res then re ph it again.with nute lock what you have to do is flush with ph water only for a week then do as i described but start at a low ppm ratio (i use 2 down from presant feeding)and slowly step back up. the leaves that are yellowed will not return but you will get new grow near the top and several side chutes.hope this helps!!!
