How big is the space you are using? 12 plants scrogged would fit a small warehouse.
Getting ready for my first scrogg grow, throwing in 12 girls, 2 level scroog. 1st one 2 ft, 2nd one at 4 ft.
my question is about trimming when they're flowering. Should I or should I not trim the under canopy the scrogg creates once?

I am a new grower so by no means a pro. If i post something wrong do not bash me, politely correct me and you might earn some rep. Avatar by BigBuddahCheese
6x10 ft I would say, not going to let them het to big, going with 12 to make up for weight since I usually do 3 huge dwc plants
You would get a better yeild doing 4-6 plants properly vegged and trained scrog. Whats the lights over the girls?

how do you change your water in a scrog grow?
Yes, trim under the canopy.. I'm not sure why you want screens 2 feet apart. By the time you have them trained into the first, there's really no reason to veg them up, since all youre going to do is have to trim farther up anyway, so youre just wasting veg time IMO.
I'm using a tube air cooled 1000w HPS and an LED that I built with a PAR of 660 in the red spectrum as a supplement.
I built a drain into my containers where all I have to do is turn the switch and it drains everything to my garden outside. (if that makes sense) I created a lever that closes tight so I can open it and add my fresh water/solutions to it, without moving to the containers
I understand where you're coming from, but keep in mind that plants still grow when they start to flower for at least 3-4 weeks. and what do you mean by "training" them?
thanks for the feedback guys/gals!!!!
