Default First time bubbler. Quick question about water level.
I have no experience with this, but how high does the water level need to be? Also, i have rockwool plugs. Should i start seeds in a dome first or can i put it straight in the bucket set up as long as i keep everything moist?

Thanks.

I've not seen a netpot this large, so Maybe my info is not applicable, but. You can transpose the cotling into the rockwool after germing and place it directly into your netpot. I've done it both ways, in a dome and directly into the bubbler, seems to make no difference, Make sure your water level is high enough to keep the rockwool moist (wet), If it dries out, Bye-Bye seedling. Once the roots reach the water, just make sure there is always enough solution to keep them wet. Roots should be into the water within 2 weeks.

Water level should be kept about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the net pot. The bubbles rising from the airstone will break on the surface and will keep the bottom of the netpot wet. The GroRocks will contain enough moisture for the new roots. As the roots seek the water, they will grow though the netpot and hang down into the solution. If you submerge part of the netpot under the water, you will get stem rot and the plants will die.
