when is the best time to add mollases and how much mollases to add with the water???

1 tsp per gallon does me. Most Ive seen people add is 2 per gallon

Sugar feeds the microbes from/in the tea. However, I wouldn't do it. It can clog a spaghetti line, ruin an impeller, clog a sprinkler, et cetera. Just let nature take its course.

I thought you really weren't supposed to use molasses in a hydro system for the reasons alexdunaba mentions. If not, does anybody know of a molasses alternative that is good for hydro?

yep, i do believe Advanced nutrients makes one called Sweet Leaf. Its safe for hydro and should do a better job than mollases.
