hey guys, 10 days in the flood tables and no new growth yet. what could be the problem? im running my ppms via lucas formula at 900. just not sure what is going on. this is my first run with hydro and even my dirt moms are outgrowing these clones. starting to get discouraged. i will up some pics in about an hour of my setup. what is the typical routine for moving rooted clones to the flood tables. ive read al b fucts post and he starts his clones at 900 ppm and just not sure whats going on.

Hey mate, trying to not jack Al's thread, so i thought i would come here. I would start monitering the water temps and dont let them go above 75. H202 will kill anything it comes in contact with, But once the dose is used up and oxygenated, if there is any hint of that bad bacteria in the rez it will start forming again.
If you got some time on your hands and a bit of extra cash make some Heisenburg tea. Pm the hydro mod Hellraizer30. very helpfull dude and is/was a full time tea brewer.

For some strains 900 could be ok but to be safe you should target things at 400 for new rooted clones. Now for moving them to
tables its simple you just either use r/w cubes 4x4s or 6x6 hugo blocks, these will need to be pre-soaked in 5.5 pm water for 30
min. Or hydrotron in 4x4 buckets or larger, in either of these cases just take your clone strait from the rooting center and place
in your medium and set your ph at 5.8 and ppm at 400 and flood x3 times a day r/w and x4 for hydrotron during lights on. I
Realy feel 900 is to much for your strain if your not geting growth at 10 days

my meter is reading 500 ppm but its reading .5 conversion. just found that out. I was using rapid rooters but im resurecting my aerocloner now to avoid using any medium during cloning.

Make sure the roots are strong on the clones before throwing them in the hydroton. Friend of mine went this way and the pebbles shreaded the roots on 4/7 clones.

When my lights turn on the bottom of my hydroton is still wet even though im only flooding 3 hours before lights out. doesnt seems like my roots are developing down to the bottom of my pots. whats the normal time it take for roots to develop during the flowering cycle in hydroton? Im 2 weeks in and some of them still havent gotn over 6 inches tall.

ok began flooding more often, 4 times during lights on. I think i was not flooding enough and causing the new roots to dry out. Well there looking better now, gaining height and starting to load up on pistals. Ill be starting a grow journal for my perpetual later. working the kinks out of my aero cloner now. Using bleach to keep down pathogens, keeping the clorine level high enough to ensure healthy clones.

Just me mate, and Al agrees with me 100%. Do not put bleach into a hydro res. Ask Al and he can break it down why not to but just cause it works doesnt mean its good for the plant.
Id recomennd getting some 29% or higher food grade h202. When it breaks down it releases an oxygen molecule. oxygenating your water.

actually i got some pool shock (calcium hypo chlorite) and make the 1 gram to a gallon mix, then you add that at 1 oz per 5 gallons of h20. I am curently using h202 29% in my flowering nute rez, but that shit cost a fortune.15 bucks for 1 liter here at local shop. from what ive read, chlorine is fine for plants, exspecially for clones as it keeps the cloning area and cuts sterile.

Just got my cloner loaded up trying to get 2 moms for each of my strains, querkle ( indica pheno and sative pheno), Cotton candy, and PPP. Ive flowered the PPP last round it had dense beautiful crystal covered nugs, but the high was to racey for me and had me peeping out the window every 10 minutes for the first hour. My patients loved it and have been asking for more every since.
