i use 2" from clone through flower and not a problem. pot size is not that big an issue, it is mainly for support.
What size net pots do I use ? Have 6" round PVC tube and am ready to order some net pots.. just what size works best so there is no root rot and room to grow?
Thanks in advance for ur help.

Thanks, any advice on the cut out... Do I just use my 2" circle like I did for my clone machine?
i always use the 2" hole saw but what i found is there are 3-4 manufacturers of net pots and all are slightly different in size.some are a little smaller, some fit in perfect(but will need securing from falling), and some larger. i like the hydrofarm pots, they are the most sturdy made and the slightly bigger ones. they fit nice and tight and i have no problems with them toppling over or out without securing. 200 for $20 at plantlightinghydroponics.com.
Perfect I do appreciate the help.. good looking out.
With 2" pots you might need some kind of system to support the plants. A net, ties and hooks, trellis etc.
3" pots can hold a bit of hydroton (still not much) and are a little more stable. You still might want to throw out some netting with these.
Dont go bigger than 3"!

How big/how much rot growth do u get? I know Veg & Flowering time makes a difference just want to male sure that I have enough room for rots and my pots are big enough to carry the weight and be stable.
Thanks
go with 2"... with the 6 inch pvc you will have more than enough space for roots..... it will be fine, since you have the rails from the SB/SS system
