Can you show come pics of the clones?
Ive got what looks like little slime globs on the cut end of my ak-48 clones im useing i think a gallon fish tank with a old air pump and a 6 inch bubble stone i started them outside in a old dog house with a fan and one light but moved them into the house in a window that does not get direct sun light at all. a couple weeks ago my brother told me to mix some take root (cheap root hormone from Wal-mart) so i did i took a cap full and dumped it into a power raid bottle in shook up real good and poured it in my cloner ( normally i would of looked this up but internet was down so i wth why not) shortly after i looked it up and what i found said the it wouldnt help any probly just screw up my ph so i changed the water and washed everything with dish soap and put straight water in it now ive got this slime do i need to just give up on this and do more from seed next year as its to late in the season now? any help would be great i can post pictures if needed
Can you show come pics of the clones?
clean everything well, i used bleach on everything but the actual plant/roots. and use clean water and cloning gel if you have. mixable rooting stimulants contain unusual organic things. i had what i expect is the same issue when i tried using Root 66.
pics could confirm
if using the fish tank did you at least black it out? if these are cuttings, which it sounds like, ph is not a factor. ph is to aide in the uptake of nutes, if the cutting has not rooted or is in just water dont worry about ph.

You cant really see the slime on it in the picture and it almost total disappears when I pulled it out to take the picture....I dont have the light on it anymore cause i was told they didnt need it till it had roots. Is it my set up thats causeing all the problems im having?
ok, roots like dark. plants like light. tha box is doing nothing. you need to seperate the rooting area with a lid to block the light and paint or tape the glass. or get a cheap tote. light in the res is almost as bad as high temps.
