easiest and cheapest way to go is dwc. you can do a 5 gal bucket or use a small tote, add an aquarium air pump, and airstone. less than $20.

That's a tad misleading. You will also want to get lights, nutrients and make sure that the grow area is well ventilated. Then there is odor control. Quite a bit more than $20. Not to mention that you will, if you are serious, want to purchase feminized or auto-flower seeds to ensure good genetics and to not mess around with sexing the plants come flowering time. Nothing worse than awaiting the flowering period only to discover you have useless male plants, which is what my bagseed attempt got me.
I'd poke around in the Bubbleponics sub-forum. There are a few good How to threads stickied at the top. Also use Youtube as a resource. There are plenty of folks who will show you various DWC set-ups.

his question was what would be the best method, i offered a solution and a price for that method. mainly the only reason i responded was because he wasnt asking for the complete list of every single thing he needed. sometimes what is misleading is too much volunteered information.

To me it seems he wants someone to hold his hand on what do. Researchinig goes a long way.

Hempy is a cheap and easy hydro method.
It gives you the chance to focus on proper feeding without having to worry about pumps, reservoir temperature, pH drift, etc...

Yes and while building a DWC system can be done for $20 there are far more additional costs. I agree with you that it is the easiest and cheapest but it's going to cost more than $20. I would think that would be helpful additional information and not misleading at all.

Thanks man.. Lighting, Ventilation and Oder Control are all covered been growing in soil for the last few years haven`t had any problems but I just want a better yield and good bud.. Done the research on a few different types of hydro growing so basically just looking for opinions on what everyone thinks would be most effective and best yielding way to go. As for cost and dedication... I can put allot of my time into it when i`m not at work and cost is not a problem >> My friend has a basement full of high end growing equip he does not use anymore and i have allot of stuff from my grow room already.

Well if you have all that covered, I 100% agree with superstoner, but I am pretty new at this stuff. When I was researching the method I would use, I pretty much decided that for my situation DWC would work best. Cost was an issue for me, so building my own system seemed like the most cost effective way to do it. So far so good.
