Title says it all, I just took some clones from some bag seed plants that I have growing. My objective is to find which ones are female and keep two strains that I like. I was just wondering how much light a mother plant would need in order to stay alive vegging? Thanks

I've kept up to 6-8 small plants in my veg chamber with 2 - 23w cfls.

I meant the amount of light.. based on what pullin said, I might just get a couple of fluoros to keep the mothers vegging for a while...

4 foot shoplights are cheapest and are fine for keeping small plants going. A step up would be a 4 foot fixture that uses T-5 tubes.
