It lacks everything, including the beneficial stuff. It also lacks anything that would help buffer it's alkalinity. This means that your water might be 6.0 pH coming out of the tap at the water store, and be in the 7 range just sitting in the bucket the next day. My tap water may be relatively contaminated, but it sure buffers well. It comes out of the faucet at about 7.2 pH, takes quite a bit of pH-down to get it to 5.6 (making it really hard to overcorrect), and then it tends to stay there. It's been a lot of years since I took a university chemistry course but there was a time when I would have been able to explain all of this.

I'm re-visiting the arguments against using tap water for my own grows. The main issues are chlorine and chloramine, right? And the high PPM in the base water make for some added confusion when deciding what the finished feeding should be.

Default 1.PH 2.SLow your on time water a bit.

I really think the water needs to be flushed well. Place that PH at a set spot. Like 5.7 is great. Plus I have seen over watering on times lead to stunted yeallow in every leaf tip. Maby even a weak branch or 2 also?

I would swap those, 45 min of watering is very intense. try 15 on 45 off.

to me they look overwatered or overfed...since you are doing hydro it is usually overfed...so...for real get that in check and you can see some actual growth...at least you have good lights.

i run my drippers every 3 hours for 30 min, you are drowning them. hydroton is not like soil, it doesnt need to be saturated all the time. your not even giving your roots time to grow before dowsing them with more nutes. here are my drippers on my schedule, about a week of growth maybe a little more. cut back on the water.
