Will my water spraying method work?

I am going to germinate my seeds in the next few days and at the moment, my aeroponic set up is your usual setup with four net pots hanging in mid air through holes cut out of the bucket's lid. In the pots, I'll have rockwool surrounded by hydroton. For my method of getting water to the roots, I have bought a water fountain feature that sprays water the same way that the water fountains in the link below do:

I've done some tests and the spray does reach the pots well enough so underwatering shouldn't be a problem.

But, I'm wondering if this method could lead to overwatering. Do you guys think I should have it on an on/off cycle (on for an hour off for an hour etc.) or some other option? I know that proper misting allows for more oxygen to reach to roots but with this method, there will always be a majority of the roots not being touched by the stream of water and oxygen uptake shouldn't be a problem. What do you guys think?

Also, one problem that I could face is the fact that only half of each pot will have water sprayed onto it. Would you guys recommend turning the pots every few watering cycles or will the water spread out evenly through the hydroton and rockwool?

Are there any problems anyone can see happening with this method? I've been having trouble finding people that have done the same as I have which is why I'm starting to think it may not work..

Seems like it would work. I would run pumps all the time would be like a dwc x aeroponics kinda . Wouldnt hurt to maybe throw in a little coarse perilite and vermiculite. Holds plenty of solution and air. I generaly go w a hydrotone, perilite, ( little vermiculite) mix w pumps 24/7 on a resirculating drip. I use bags on trays though. My only concern would be as the roots grew the could clog your pump. Just something to consider. Check dwc threads and aero threads. They could both help you.

Another thought. Look up ez cloner you tube videos. Diy ez cloner. Your scaling up a bit.
