Default Flushing before flower using General Organics Nutes?

Hey Growers I want to hear your opinions on this topic.

    I'm using a 5 gal reservoir
top drip set up three 15 minute watering cycles every 4 hours
    distilled water
    General Organics Go Box nutes
I do have an airstone - foam is not an issue
2 rows 3 ladies deep with grodan blocks
    2 Green Crack
    2 Moby Dick
    2 Purple Haze
    73-76 degrees
    600 Watt HPS

I'm currently flushing my system for 2 days (6 watering cycles) between my veg and flower cycles. I've heard it doesn't need to be done with organic nutrients, but I also understand GO isn't completely organic. I don't see an OMRI seal anywhere I just want to clear the medium of anything that may have built up over the last month of vegging. Anyway it didn't seem like a bad idea to flush, but this is my first hydro grow and I could be doing something wrong. Can anybody offer some advice? Pics below

You can either flush, or you can not flush.
It wont make much of a difference, as long as you change out your reservoir and replace grow nutes with bloom nutes.

Why on earth would you want to stress your plants before putting them into bud cycle? As above poster said, just change out your reservoir with bloom nutes once you flip the switch and keep on growin!

They don't seem stressed at all. I intended to clean the girls' systems out and get them ready for flowering nutes, and it seems to have worked well. I'll post a pic in a few days

I have found that flushing, unless there is a serious problem, is a complete waste of time and energy. As long as you change out your res on a regular schedule and keep an eye on your pH and ppm, you're plants will thrive. Anything else, in my opinion, is just grow book and grow store bullshit.

I am all for this as well. The whole weekly res change is for the birds, and the companies trying to sell more products! As many have stated, you medium is the water!!! Why would you want to change that every week? If you PPM levels are in check as well as your PH, then the plants will only uptake what they want/need. I always start at about 1/2 strength of what the nutrient suppliers actually call for and work up from there. Most are calling for way too strong of mixtures and you are just wasting your money by listening to them! My 3 part GH nutes have lasted me 1-1/2 years now(still with close to 1/2 left of 1gal's) I only bud 2 plants at a time and usually have several in veg trying to get new strains established.(50L res for my 2 budding plants)

In my past 2 grows, I have not changed the reservoir from start to finish.(bud cycle) The results have spoken for themselves, as I grew the same strain each time and it just got better and better!

After all this talk about ScRog's on here, I am now in my 1st attempt at one. Things seem alright so far. Just moved the plants under the screen 2 days ago, so only time will tell now!

Ok... a better word may be "shock" your plants. When they are growing naturally in nature, they do not suddenly get deprived of nutrients before going into bud cycle. The only thing that happens is the change of season and light period! If anything, you will want to add specific nutrients going into bud cycle, not deprive your girls!
