Hey all i started my first hydro a couple of weeks ago, and i took a plant that i had growing in soil and transferred it over to a hydro system that i put together from a youtube tutorial. at the moment i am not home, but plan to put pics up by monday. i have been researching what exactly i need for my hydro but it seems that i got it wrong. i have a 18 gallon tub with four pots in it. i went sorda ghetto on it and used tubaware for the net pots. but i really want to know is what is the right amount of food, and hydrogen peroxide that i should use to get the best results. i fill the tub up t0 16 gallons and have the pots just right on the surface of the water. i am really new to growing and need some help with my hydro to get the best grow out of it.

Thanx for advice. :joint::mrgreen:

killmar yes it does. but not the ordinary hydrogen peroxide from the pharmacy/walmart will. you need atleast 17%. thats what I use. i use 2-4ml per gallon. depends how long it was since i changed solutions. I get mine from the local hydroshop. as for nutes. i use chemical nutes. some organics will stain your roots and you may think its root rot. but then again some chem nutes will stain roots also.

hydrogen peroxide=h202=sterile res meaning no harmful or beneficial bacteria can thrive in the water, the best type to get is a food grade h202 at around 29% in strength i believe, as for food it really depends on the size and strain you are running. do you have a ppm meter? if so and your plants are fairly large (been vegging for a few weeks) i would start with around 500-600 ppm and go from there after seeing how your plants react. will be able to help more with some pics.

For quick and profuse flowering of your plants CO2-Tablets tableti.S contains 60 tablets of this package vagledroden dioxide you own a new, revolutionary and powerful product
designed for plants grown in all substrates. Accessible and cheap, they are specifically designed to replace complex and expensive fertilizer carbon dioxide systems used until now. Slowing growth in plants is often caused by a shortage of carbon dioxide - in poorly ventilated areas, the shortage could be disastrous. With the tablet can deliver carbon dioxide directly into the roots of plants and significantly
improve their growth. Only healthy plants will make effective use of the additive. Numerous product tests revealed the absence of magnesium as a possible side effect. To avoid this lack effective, the product contains 1.2% magnesium sulfate. Tablets carbon dioxide released into the water and thus stimulate growth.
Healthy plants repeatedly absorb essential nutrients - carbon dioxide, as it contains air.
Warning: The addition of carbon dioxide immediately before the twilight has no effect! During the dark periods the plants do not absorb any carbon dioxide. Tablets bind carbon dioxide with water over a period of 4 to 6 hours.
Application: When plants or cuttings are healthy, use 1 tablet per 100 liters of water. In hydro systems, simply add the tablet into the container. Overdosing is neither harmful nor useful. Apply at least twice a week to achieve optimal results. It is recommended throughout the plant cycle. The use of CO2-Tabs is prirodotselesaobrazna and does not harm plants, pets, birds, insects or microorganisms. Adding tablets to the drinking water temporarily reduces the pH.
It is recommended that regular measurement of pH and pochvata.Niskoto or high pH violates an adequate intake of nutrients in plants. Use Bacterial,
to recycle the extra waste nutrients (due to rapid growth). CO2-Tabs and Bacterial are an ideal combination for your plants.

if you are planning on running any type of organic or semi organic fertilizer dont bother with h202, you will need some beneficial bacteria to get the most from (semi)organic ferts. if using (semi)organics go with a benifical/myco brewed tea for harmful bacteria prevention.
