Do you guys/gals recommend Hi Pressure Aeroponic or Low pressure? Earl, I know what you're going to say already (low) but true Aero is in hi pressure form.

Any good, cheap, quiet pumps I can get? Would this work as a high pressure pump?

Yes that pump will work. If it pupms too much water, you can always use a shutoff valve partially closed as a restricter. SInce I put shutoff valves on mine anyway to make changing the reses easier this doesn't add any expense. Another nice think about fountain pumps is that they are made to run constantly, they have the qualitity to stand it. VV

That pump won't give you any high pressure, its a simple pump with alot of flow but no power.
If you want to go into real high pressure aeroponics, you need to drop about $200 on a pump with some HP at least 1/6HP to make "some" pressure

i dont get it, why would you want a pump with more horses than your lawnmower? Why is HP better?

Because a true aeroponic system uses high pressure misters which produce 50-80 micron droplets...ideal for the pore sizes on most roots.

You need a high power pump for that. I know which pump I will use:
