hey, just wondering what you're using to keep it all cool in there.

so far there is no real ventilation. lights are on 24/7 right now so i open the closet many times a day. im working on proper cooling for the light and a better reflector. i might even build a bigger grow cabinet in the garage since the closet is getting kida cramped. but im not really sure yet.

temp are around 65-80 at anytime so i think its okay but could be better.
weekend project will probably be cooling. inline duct fan hopefully.

this is day 31 of veg from seed by the way. for the bigger ones. i know the small one are in bad condition but there is a financial problem so i dont know what im gonna do yet.

should they be showing preflowers already?

lookin good other than plants on the left in the rocks look like they are hurtin. looks like overwatering and/or ph flux. but your otherones looks great nice big fanners.

here are the plants. day 45 of veg. i think im going to flower soon just finishing up the flowering box.


tallest plants on right are 14" and 15" inches tall already. left ones are at about a foot.

will i see preflowers automatically? or do I HAVE TO switch to 12/12 before i find out sex?

You don't have to switch to 12/12 to find out sex. Sometimes they sexually mature in veg but if they haven't theres no point waiting for it if you want to flower. I must say they're looking tasty

so ive decided to update finally. here are some pics


24 days into flowering. la confidential

400w hps. switched to ocean forest and light warrior on a few plants. switch went fine except i got some males. got em all out.

ten bubba kush clones vegging 11 days. flower after 3-3.5wks

still have two in a dwc tub going to try to scrog to keep plants even.

Nice first grow, I just started my first closet grow today. I'm just doing two AK48 seeds, hopefully atleast one will be female. I will be watching thisone, keep up the good work.

good job, excellent looking. You got all the right equipment at more or less the right time, and its paying off!
Now that all the foundation is set (lighting and your methods so far), you need to be concerned about the smaller things that can potentially have a big impact.
Depending on how much time a day you devote to learning about things, you should really be thinking about ideal ppm levels and pH levels, and keep those very ideal. Also think about whats in your nutes, such as additives like molasses. This is where you can REALLY maximize on your experience and get them to the best they can be. These are you BABIES and the healthier they are the happier you are!
