I have never grown hydroponicly and I would like to build a ebb n flow and a modified aquafarm in the next six months or so and every thing seems pretty straight forward as far as building one however I'm not entirely sure about the pump portion I know that most people recommend a submerged pump however I have read some reviews on pumps that say they only last a month to six under constant use do you have a recommendation on brand?

for submerged, Mondi is good value, Leader is good quality, made for bigger jobs.

Has anyone every used the brand pondmaster? I know that they are come with a 3 year warranty so I would assume they are a quality pump just wondering if anyone used them?

3yr warrantee is really good for a pump.

yeah thats what I thought although I did find some customer complaints for the smaller cheaper pumps(than what I was planning on getting) and they come with a 3 yr warranty as well. But I couldn't find any reviews period for the larger pumps.

I have 5 of these from 350gph to 1280


The bigger pumps are quieter and will "lift" better
Check on ebay for "mag drive pump"
