Well i guess i am not the first to use one but i am using a Aerogarden that was made for purpose of Herbs, Flowers, Tomatoes. So i already knew it what i was gonna do with it so i had for almost 3 weeks now and today i went and bought another one cause the plants are growing so fast you can only have about 3 at most in one. I am going to use them for my Veg then for flowering, the top is removable, I will remove it and put my 400w HPS for 12/12. For standard they are set at 17/7. Honestly for a beginner or someone just wanting to sit back and let it do all the work, I strongly recommend this, I am going to back and journal and post pics so if you want keep up with my Thread!!

Good stuff! I am thinking about doing the same thing, but was also wondering about using the existing lights off of the aerogarden 200pro (has more lights than the 100) along with LED grow lights for the 12/12, but have no experience growing with them. Hope it goes well... keep us updated.

Pretty much here i closed off the area with a false door, looks better and now its warmer keeping humidity in. This is just the vege stage. When i am going to flower i will remove the tops of the machines and hang a 400 watt HPS. Look at them though cause they are some beasts. The mixture is Diesel and also i just started off some Black Domina about 3 days ago in the empty slots.

Hmm I wouldn't try to grow 2 plants in 1 pod....And I would definitely not grow more than 3 plants in the aerogarden at once....and ya definitely replace the hood with that hps.

Xtc, next time keep your lights a lot closer. see how much the left one stretched?

Diesel how long you going to veg? if i was you. if you have it then use the hps even for veg. it will help so much get rid of the hoods. my opinion

i was thinking about letting them get 18 inches then flower. Today im going to get some nutes and possibly go ahead and get the HPS light then more supplies to build something to hold the light but yes i did think about using the hps for vege but with the way they are growing i don't wanna mess with it. They are so healthy!! Almost think it would be my luck to change something and mess up (which with that idea it shouldn't). I guess its kind of like the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. As always i do like the advise nothing wrong with knowledge.

Xtc hell ya man aerogarden love! On the 2 plants in one pod was kind of an accident cause usually all my seeds dont bust so i plant 1-3 in a pod but i guess i got lucky and everyone of them cracked. I really dont know what to do on that for the fact if i pluck one it would end up a female and getting stuck with a male, then in another sense they all be females but not enough room for them. For this being my first hydro grow i will go ahead and call it a learning experience so next time i know how what to do, but this has been fun.
