    Default Problem With My Lighting

I bought a Stealth Bubbleponic system and I am using there Dual Spectrum II lights they offer as a upgrade. The problem is when I try to plug in one or both of they lights they blow the fuse in my circut breaker and make a big spark in the outlet. Everything else works fine and turns on with out a problem its just the lights. I have tried running an extention cord from another room to the lights and it did the same thing. What am I doing wrong?

I think dankciti is on the ball... no way you are blowing circuits with the wattage of those lights.

Go to Home Improvement store and buy a new light + reflector and test it out.

    I will do that.

Also on a sidenote what do you guys think of these lights? They say they are rated at 8400 lumens do you think that will be enough?

"Current theory holds that the minimum amount of lighting needed to sustain growth is around 2,000 lumens per square foot (of grow area). Mid range is around 5,000 lumens per square foot. Optimal is 7,000 to 7,500 or higher lumens per square foot.Current theory holds that the minimum amount of lighting needed to sustain growth is around 2,000 lumens per square foot.
