how fast do roots grow in dwc?

Ya, when they get down to the water, they explode. Even if the tops look like they are doing nothing, your roots will grow by inches every day.

damn man. i only started deep water culture to see how fast the roots can grow. so what happens with deep water culture? do the roots grow fast then the top will develop or do they grow equally. once the roots are established in the water will the plant explode in growth ontop?

It explodes both ways, you'll definitely see it happen if your conditions are proper.

ive got the temp perfect, the humidity just right, the 400 watt hps. heavy 16 nutrients bloom a and b the ph is 5.6. ppm is 500 right now

wow they did explode since yesterday morning

i just switched to dwc from soil. I was surprized to see roots grow by about 4 inches in 6 days! my little seedlings have really took off!

i have a purple kush seedling im going to transfer to dwc.
