Brand new Ebb n Gro Setup!

I found using hydrozyme works great for keeping everything nice and clean. Also, washing hydroton isnt all that bad, its a bit of a pain in the ass, i guess. But in like 2-3 3 hours i can clean 24 buckets worth. I just soak in water with h202, so it bubbles the roots to the surface. Then i rinse really well and put them back in the buckets and run a bunch of floraklean and water through the system a bunch of times to make sure everything is out. Other than that, not bad for being re usable. I couldnt imaigne disposing of that much rocks, almost seems easier to just wash them then explain why your garbage can weighs 150lbs.

I also found it necessary to flush out excess nutes every few weeks or so with some floraklean, otherwise i had nute lockout problems.

FOr those who raise ther buckets, arent you concerned with the water not reaching all of the roots that way? Thatts 2 inches on the top that wont get watered. Plus with it re flooding multiple times a day its not really like the water is stagnate long enough for any problems.

I raise mine to allow the water to get out I flood 3 times during lights on. and for the 12 hours the lights are off i want it all out.
and in my opion I dont want the water reaching the upper part of the bucket/ stops algie from forming there. as for any of the zyme products
not to offend anyone but there a waist of $. call me crazy but if I find a problem in my water I use bleach 15ML per 55 gal and for annual care
H202 at 7ML per gal every three days
