First Grow - Headband (Master Kush x OG Kush x Sour Diesel)

This is our first grow. It's indoor hydro medical headband (northern California.) We are about five weeks into flowering. We have to keep on the down-low, resulting in no outside feedback. So we'd love to hear what some other growers and folks have to say to us. Thanks!

EDIT: We switched from T-5 to 600 watt HPS (13 light/11 dark) about five weeks ago. Bud development began about three weeks ago.

Yeah I threw in the edit there in the original post. We're about three weeks into flowering, we changed our light around five weeks ago.

nice that hps is going to pack some weight on those girls keep us updated.

absolutely if you have never flowered with hps then let me tell you you wont be disappointed plain and simple i flowered with t5's forever and when i finally got hps well lets just say there is no going back lol again good light good grow props hope all goes well

We are going to switch our light cycle from 13/11 to 12/12 in around two weeks for increased resin production before harvest. Does anyone have some experience with this variation of light cycle? Results? We've heard and read good things.

Hey everyone. Here are some updated pictures from today. Almost five weeks into flowering, about to add another hour of night to their light cycle. Also switching to our Grand Finale nutes soon.

my goodness, they're filling in nicely. do you know how long it should take to finish?

What would make you think i left this is a good strain to watch grow and i love seeing strains like this..

timely thread for me as i turned my oaksterdam headband clones to flower this morning. all i really know is that they are pretty long flowering (70+?) and i would love to hear headband specific details or advice. also i am very interested in how the extra hour of light does.

Thanks we appreciate that. This is our first time growing pot (properly, anyway) so everything is kind of an experiment for us. What we can say is that they seem to have thrived under our light cycles so far, and not too long ago we switched to 12/12 to give them another hour of darkness for resin production. We will probably stick with our 24/0 veg, 13/11 then 12/12 flower cycles for awhile because we see absolutely no negative side effects. We also had an elongated veg period.
