an idea of mine...

let me know if u see any flaws in this. im not plannin on building it, just an idea. im a little drunk, so bear with me...

build a big frame which holds hydro buckets up in the air. their tops will be about a foot from the ceiling. these buckets have a draining system which leads to a reservoir on the floor. that res has a water pump, which pumps nute solution back up to the buckets.

there is a net pot with a clone in it on the lid of the buckets. put your MH lights(or whatever combo of mh/hps) at a 90 degree angle to the buckets, pointing at the clones. this will attract the plants to the side of the buckets, at a 90 degree angle. after a while, the clones will get past the side of the bucket, and out into midair. this is when u put ur lights a little lower. this will train the plants to grow downwards, along the side of the bucket.

over time, ur plants will grow bigger and bigger, growing down. this means u must basically put the light under the bucket, facing up.

this way, u can use the entire height of the room, saving however much height ur bucket takes up.

as im typing this i thought of something: i have no idea how u would hold the light in position at all of these positions and angles. any ideas?

i think that you would need to tie your plant down and even then i think you can only place light sideways and not under the bucket. it's a crazy idea lol
