I am thinking, is it a waste to have 6 6" pots in a 10 gal tuperware. Will the roots really absorb enough nutrients to need changing in 2 weeks? Also, how long do you keep germinated seeds in a bag before you put them under a grow light. Does anyone use flora nova from general hydroponics? It has a 7-4-10 ratio. I use General Hydroponics regular Flora series and have used Flora Nova. I have been very happy with the results.

I don't keep my germinated seeds in a bag. I put them right into my hydro system and turn on the lights. Though you are supposed to wait until they break the surface before turning on the lights.

Looking at my notes, I see here after about a month of growing three plants, i was adding 2 gallons of water to my 18 gallon reservoir just about every day. So i would suspect you'll be adding water like crazy to a 10 gallon reservoir growing twice as many plants. At that rate of water usage you should be changing the reservoir every week.

6 pots with 10 gal of nutes, at about week 2 of flowering this will turn into a daily job to keep up with the water/nute consumption.

i have a 55 gallon res on my 6 pot system, but i only keep abour 30 gal in there no use to waste that much water. but my system is expandable to 48 pots thats why the res is so big. but anyways i change my res like once every 10 days. i like to keep fresh nutes in there for my girls, especially during flowering. dont want any algae or mold building up either. i give my res a good cleaning each time. Better to spend a few more bucks on more nutes than not supplying my girls with the best.

How long should it take for me to begin flowering from week 1 of veg?
Ive heard the rule is 6 weeks or 12 inches? Will a taller tree yeild more bud?

I was reading on Nirvana's site that a high nitrogen food is inportant for cannabis. flora nova is not exactly high in cannibis. I think acidic miracle grow with the flora nova to compensate would be ok so long as i dont over feed, right?

I use GH floa series nutes and the LUCAS formula...I never change the nutes in the res...always use the 8:16 ratio and/or rod water to bring ppm to 900 and ph to 5.8-5.6...that's it...I've not flushed or changed the res in 4 generations of my Snow White...She loves it and keeps getting better each harvest...

just use the GH Flora series and omit the grow part...add 8ml of grow 1st, and then 16 ml of bloom to each gallon of rod (distilled will probably work) water...water evaporates and you will need to add it daily and as you mionitor the ppm, you will notice the level in the res will go down as nutes are used...keep the ph at 5.6-5.8...
