I tried the 1.5 " starter cubes and hated them! Tried germinating 5 Blue Mystic and took 40 clones from Master Kush moms and got 1 germinated seed and 9 viable clones when I'm used to 100percent clone/germination rates. Very disappointed and maybe used for other purposes might be ok, but for germ/cloning use other stuff.
Can't comment on the product, but i can certainly comment on their comparison method of prepping hydroton... not heard of a tap and colander?
are those as simple to re-use as hydroton is though?

the best thing about stg vs hydroton is when you step on a stg you are not hopping around cussing from pain. hate hydroton. neither are needed, just a net pot and collar.
Can you re-use hydrotons? Because I thought after using them, you throw them away.
yes, just wash in a bleach solution. and rinse well.
Hydroton can be reused.
I tried suretogrow and came to the conclusion that it was not a good product.
