A newbie here just wondering where i should be keeping my PH at. I have 5 powerplant (last seed didnt germinate) and just wondering what my PH should be kept at. Also i have one leaf that is turning a little yellow on one plant (all the other leafs are fine) and all the other plants are fine. Should i be concerned? lastly, putting the paper plates or something on top of the plants....what does this do? help anchor them? the plants are about 2in tall, have 6-8 leaves, and have been in the system for 10 days (germinated for a day or 2 before being put in) edit i also havent started with any nutrients, i plan on starting them tomorrow with only a 1/4th dose and slowing going upwards

Hi Weezy - welcome to the site. I'm growing PPP now too! i try to keep my pH no lower than 5.2 and no higher than 6.3 - 5.5 sounds perfect! i check my pH daily (sometimes twice) and adjust accordingly. i use general hydroponics flora series nutrients and balance pH after adding nutes. |
