Question Wilting?
It seems when the lights are on the plants are fine. When I wake up in the morning the lights are off because thats when my lights are schedueled to be off. I notice that when i look at them when the lights are off they are wilted a couple hours after the lights are on they are fine. I have them in an aero system. I currently have 2 plants. I am going to make an aerosystem where they are in their own 5 gallon bucket. I will have 4 plants total. The water temp is stable at 71 degrees and the PH is 6. I am using the FoxFarm Grow Big nutes as they are in veg. I put 1 teaspoon pergallon of water. I have a water heater in there keeping it at perfect temps and an air pump keeping the water full of oxygen. I am using CFL's currently and they are 3-5 inches away from the tops. Only one plant wilts and that plant has roots that reach in the water. I have 5-6 gallons of water in the res. I beileve the plants are Indica but I am not to sure on that. I have a fan blowing very very low on the so the stems get strong. My lights are on 18/6 . One plant is about a month old and the other only a week old. I will switch them to 12/12 in about 3-4 weeks. I will also be getting about 400 or a 600 watt HPS in there. If someone can please help me that will be appreciated. Thank you.

**WARNING** I AM A NEWBIE:

Is it possible that the one plant that is drooping is not getting an even spray on it's roots from the misters?

I don't think that has anything to do with it. The roots are hanging in the water so maybe its getting more water. I figured that i AM GOING TO GO WITH 400 WATT hps AND 260 watts of CFL's for side lighting. The CFL bulbs produce UVB/UVA sp it will increase the THC content on the buds during flowering! ANyone else know why it is wilting when the lights are off? Maybe it is because I have been switching things like yesteday I added the air pump so maybe there is stress because of the added Oxygen?

I don't think added air would give them any stress at all; they need oxygen and only take in as much as they need. You'll never see a hyperventilating plant, LOL. Plants respond to light by being "perky"; think of how sunflowers act when the sun comes up and goes over the sky; they follow it. I don't think you have anything at all to worry about.

two solutions... one is that there is not enough oxygen getting to the plant... and two, it's naturalfor plants to wilt when there is no sun, then rise to meet it's glow.

24/0 is best for veg' anyway.

Alright well If I switch to 24/0 now will it cause my plant to go hermie, because it is indeed a female and I wouldn't want it to go hermie.

do the plants look different, genetically I mean? I have trouble making all my plants happy because I have 2 strains with about 3 variations of each. Some plants wilt while others stretch for the light, but if I change something, they will switch and do the opposite.

Well they are bag seed. They are both classifed as "nuggets" here wich is some of the best we can get in town. They are 2 different types of "nuggets" though. One is about a month older than the other.
