Pull off the yellowing parts of the leaf. They aren't needed.

Toomuch leaf can cause this, also leaves up against prop' walls, also shading from other leaves on other clones.

Don't worry about it. Transplant your clones only when they are covered in root...

It really depends on what system you are transporting to. DWC for example, it would be unwise to transplant clones, till they are full of root... anyway, that's just the way I like to do it.

I've transplanted plenty of not fully rooted clones with no problems, except dwc where they have a tendency to wilt. Sometimes for up to two days before they can stand up under their own steam.

I use rapid rooter plugs and an ebb and flow for clone to flower.

Wait till a few roots are showing, I personally believe the clones leaves yellow because NOW it has roots and they arent gettin any nutes that the clone was gettin when it was still attached to mommy.

9 day old clones.

No rooting hormone, no rapid rooters, no yellow leaves. Do it right, and you don't need nutes till you transplant them. The SINGLE most important factor in cloning is environment.

clones can be kept for months without ever the need to add nutes.

Well, I don't know about that, but I grow my plants hydroponically, which to me means to feed them instead of them having to find food.

So I feed them, from before they have roots, until I flush them. My rockwool cubes are soaked in a weak nute solution, with heavy vitamin B, and when those roots start to stick out from the stem, they have a buffet of food in all directions.

I also spray the leaves with the same nute solution every day.

I don't have any yellowing leaves on my cuttings.

I have never needed to use anything but plain 6.0 water... oh, and plenty of light. I clone under MH, around 3ft away... sometimes closer. The clones closer to the light will always show root first. I mist twice a day (sometimes only once) with the same 6.0 water. I actually had Master Kush show root in just 3 days. Only strain that's happened with though. Usually, first signs of root... well it could be anything, 5, 7, 9... never longer than 9 days.

Not pre boiled water, either. I grow in coco coir, which is classed as hydroponics... and I've never needed to add nutes to my clones. No yellow leaves. If you don't know what you're doing, adding nutes to clones can kill them... this must be the case, as I've never needed to use them.

The thing i have found most important with clones is light... so long as you keep them humid, the more light they have, the quicker they will root. I believe the yellowing leaves is caused by low access to light.
