There are tons of good nutes out there. Some are more complicated than others to use. Here's what I use:

Vegging: Advanced Nutrients two part Grow A&B.

Flowering: Pure Blend Pro Bloom and CalMag. 15ml PBP and 5ml CalMag. Those figures are per gallon of RO water.

Well, they're spending too much money, IMHO. The guys who use the whole gambet of AN nutes do the same thing. I think an entire grow, using the whole enchalada from AN would cost around $500. No thanks!

Well, I see you don't eat much Mexican food, but I remember that I calculated the AN cost for a grow, and it was 8 times as much. Someone has to pay for that huge marketing staff.

Let me ask you Vi, you use 15 ml/gal of PBP, but the label says to use 30-45 ml/gal. My other experiences with organic teas taught me to use enough of the stuff. I guess you're saying that is enough for an aggressive grow?

And why the AN stuff (chemical?) for vegging?

inquiring minds ...

At the insistance of the guy at the local hydro store, I tried to convert over to AN nutes. I found it to be way to complicated, way to expensive and the labels were mismarked to boot. The nute strength was WAY to strong using the recommended doses. I ended up burning up some very valuable genetics. So ... I gave up on AN except for the Grow A&B. I'll be converting over to Pure Blend Pro "Grow" on my next grow.

On the PBP are you citing the amounts recommended on the Bloom?

*lol* ... I'm confused. Isn't the recommended dose 15ml per gallon? I'll have to check my bottle.
