Can you only take cuttings from the plant when they are young or can you take your clones right before you harvest.

naw only while they are veggin

you can take clone anytime you like, but when you take a clone during flower it takes them a longer time to develop a root system and then you'll have to revert the plant back to veg which will take probably another 2 wk.

yea its possible, there are tutorials out there that shows you how to clone with just a cup of water and some clear wrap and u put it by your kitchen window.

thanx waffle i have three plants that are 2 wks in flower ..and are streched..(cfl grow)
so i want to top them , then replant it... how many nodes should the clone have?

clone can have as much as only 1 node, but that would make a weak clone once it rooted, ideal is atleast 3 nod according to my operation, but you can go more nods that would make for a better plant once it root.
