Shelf Life on Nutrients?
My buddy gave me some old nutrients he had (he switched to another system) and I was wondering if anybody knows about how long the nutrients last. I know they are all different. The ones that i have are Golden Grow: Grow and Bloom. I called the store where they were bought and they said a max of 6 months, but I don't know if I necessarily believe that. One of my friend's said that he is using some from almost 10 years ago, and another from 6 years ago (don't know whay they lasted that long) and they are both having no problems. Anyone???

As long as the bottle has been capped, and there's nothing growing in it, go ahead and use it. The plants won't know it's old.

I cant really see them "going bad", less potent maby but not bad. Is there an experation date?

I'd try them also. BUT ... if they weren't stored properly, in a cool place, they may be bad. Heat is the nemisis of nutrients.
