Question topping shock

i just topped my plants. what i need to know is how long i should wait before i put them into flowering. they were about 14", and now they are around 10". i want to keep them as short as possible, but i also want to make sure they arent in shock when i start flowering. also is there anything i should be lookin out for now that they are topped?

You want to look for vigorous new growth. It sounds like a dramatic topping, so I would let them go at least 2 weeks, then flower.
