ag nutes vs. liquid nutes

i started my clones off with ag nutes, 2 tablets. ive read alot about people cutting the dosage in half to one tablet, is this a good idea, or should i buy some real nutes,im new to hydro growing so where would i find some nutes if i didnt wana get them on the interenet?
