i didnt even need to remove the covers, the sponges kinda just popped out the holes on top.
then the covers fell off like 3 days later , i just replaced them with some duct tape

Damn if your at 5 weeks they should be big and you should have flowered by now....if not I would top those plants and then go to flower....

just read a thread on tap water having high ph, ive got a drum in the garden that collects rain water of the roof, would that be ok to use in the aerogarden.

Yep that will work... But just some more info.... I used straight up spring water in my aerogarden.. I never checked my ph nor did I ever empty the res.. I added a air stone . and I grew 4 great plants net wt 2 dry oz .. using the aerogarden nutes for tomatoes

I dropped my light onto one of my plants, the stem gave an audible POP and i almost broke into tears.... i didnt touch a thing, just let it sit for a few days and other then looking like it needs a neck brace or serious chiropractic adjustments everything seems to be growing just fine, as a matter of fact today there seemed to be twice as many pistils as there were yesterday.

you stumbled onto something called fimming.

what happens is you lightly squeeze a stem just below a bud site. carefully roll and squeeze until your feel the cells break. the plant will hang over at that point, but in a couple of days will repair itself and grow stronger.

thats not quite what u did but it seems to have had a similar effect.

if you have done this much thinking you should save your money and build your own.

basically, you need an area. a suitable container with cover. an air pump and stone. some hydro nutes. rockwool and net pots. some lights.

thats it. you lights will cost the most. have seen complete grows with CFL only. i found 42w at walmart the other day. 125w equivalent. 8000+lumens

but if your lazy, get the AG then you will see how simple it is. then you can build your own and clone/veg mothers in the AG.

they running. have them tied down at the moment and i just cleaned my res tank. trimmed some roots as well. looking for them to recoup and start to really form some buds.

got a lot of sites budding now on three females. they are 24-30 inches in hieght but i have them tied down to half that. lots of small compact buds with alot of white hairs. no real developement as of late. hoping they stressed from res change and root trim.
