Hey, so I got a good email explaining the lights for the AG, here it is:

Herbs/Basil - Lights on 17 hours - Pump on 17 hours
Salad Greens - Lights on 16.5 hours - Pump on 24 hours
Tomatoes/Peppers - Lights on 16 hours - Pump on 20 hours
Flowers - Lights on 15.5 hours - Pump on 20 hours
Strawberries - Lights on 16 hours - Pump on 16 hours

So I guess I may have to rig up a 12/12 timer after all

but i did luck into the perfect strain for the small aerogaarden

Awesome pics Alaska, I hope you'll stop by now and again to pass on your wisdom on these boards. I'm trying to monkey my way through my first grow. Trying to hack up my system real good to better attain a flower cycle.

so whats the best pump cycle(what setting). i have my light plugged into my own timer so what should i set the ag too? and i noticed that theres a switch on the pump itself labeled 1 to 4 i see that it is flow but whats the best flow for growin weed? thanks any help would be appreciated

Hmm, pump cycle? Well, Salad Greens is a 24 hr setting for the pump. That's what I have mine set for. As for the actual dial on the pump, I don't know what those mean.

so you want 24 hour pump cycle? the dial on the pump is the flow amount, meaning 1 is a low flow and 4 is very fast and more water. it comes at 2.5 so i put it back to that. i just am new to the aeroponic/hydro and didnt no if you should set the pump so it goes off a few hours a day or not.

I just ordered some White Widow and the Fox Farm Hydro kit........Already have the figure eight cord plugged in directly to the lights and it's hooked up to a timer, I have the pump seperate from the timer.......Just not sure how much of the Nutrients I'm supposed to use. I am well aware of the Fox Farm Chart but I just needed to know if any of you have experimented with the nutrients to see what the best measurements are...I'll post some pic's of my setup in a little while.... i have been reading these for a while and most everyone recomends to use half strength nutes for the 1st 2 weeks. I also have a question I am about to start my first aerogarden grow and i purchased the fox farm grow big nutes do i need any other nutes are is the "grow big" nutes enough?

Ahh nice, I have a feeling this is going to go really well.....And I bought the hydro kit for 40 bux....Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and another one....here is the link American Garden Supply ....Make sure it is for hydroponics and NOT soil!!!

Thanks XTC. One more question when you first germinate the seeds do you use all the nutes at the same time or just one specific one to start out?
