it hasn't been discussed a lot. Most of us couldn't afford to put stainless on our walls. If we could we would buy better lights first and just slap some flat white paint on the walls. VV

i dont think it would really help that much i mean u can just get tin foil and face the dull side out..ghetto but efficient

The stainless cost me nothing, my mate had 3 or 4 sheets of

2700x900x18mm thick MDF with 2 mm highly polished s/steel stuck to it, left

over from a commercial building job or wrong size... I built the whole room out

of it

that's just an old pic to demonstrate the walls made of stainless steel, the HID is currently approx 2 foot above plants, they were/are still young, didn't wanna suck the life out of them

Flat white paint 85-93
Semi-gloss white 75-80
Flat yellow 70-80
Aluminum Foil 70-75
Black < 10


They say mirrors are not good reflectors because the light must pass through the glass, and that diminishes the reflection. But since you have a mirror-like finish without the glass, it might be up there around 90 percent.
