Default five gallon rockwool ebb and flo? anyone done it?

I am still sexing out donators for what will be forever I hope now. Got my strains. Herijauna is hopefully going to be my queen. If I can find a female. Dont blame sannie, A few I killed when I got the flu and said fuck it, she is also competing with purple wreck and el monstre. Man I just found five males out of five.

Anyway I am going to veg in a turbogarden. Using whatever medium I choose to flower.

Right now they are in rockwool. That was by nescesity. I was thinking to transplant these, the cuttings of females to a hydroton drip system. Lots of air.

However I was readding at some shops today online and I saw that I could for 32 bucks and shipping get 20 gallons of rockwool mini cubes.

I plan on doing four five gallon buckets. This might be nice. I have an ebb table, a 3x3 already.

Instead of setting up a drip, (gh three part) I could set up an ebb a lot easier in five gallon buckets just sitting on this table. Veg four for 2 months, almost, and flower for 2 months. Perpetual.

I gave a lot of background info to try to get people interested. I am wondering, has anyone done a five gallon ebb and flow in mini cubes or rockwool floc? This seems very easy for a big ebb tree. I am medical so I like to keep it tree.

the rockwool mini cubes would give a lot of air too, I dont know which gives more, the floc or the cubes. That is a question.

    Any experience?

you just have to be careful with rock wool. if you are dripping/flooding directly on top of it, it will always be wet and has a tendency to get moldy and then rot. That mold and or rot can transfer to the stem of your plants, which can kill them. You'll want to drip/flood directly on the roots if possible to avoid this.
