The great AN defender. When you are harvesting 2 pounds a day or more and paying AN nutrient prices to do it along with their bob us calculator then your defense of AN might mean something.

2 pounds a DAY? You have to be harvesting a room per day to do that.

That's not a question of nutrient choice, that's a question of whether or not you're running a large-scale commercial operation.

There's nothing wrong with Advanced Nutrients or their calculator. No one's dosing recommendation is going to be dialed in for every single plant in every single grow.

Only a poor carpenter blames the tool.

I don't really understand why everybody seems to be an Advanced Nutrients-basher, I mean if you can't make them work then don't use 'em. If there's anybody out there harvesting 2 pounds a day, I highly doubt they would worry about the couple extra dollars that AN charges. The only thing I ever hear people say when they're bashing on AN is that "it's over-priced" or they "advertise too much", they're "soo corporate", etc. If you can't afford 'em then simply use something cheap. And of course they advertise the Hell out of their products- isn't the whole purpose of owning a business to promote it and make as much $ as possible? I'm sure they make a lot more $ than the other nute companies, so they're selling plenty of nutes. I personally think the nutrient calculator sucks, but I still use AN succesfully, every time. Using discount nutrients will just get you some discount results.
I've used GH, Botanicare, House & Garden and AN... they ALL work well, but none of them as easily as Advanced. Also, I have recently been running their cheap-ass line of Jungle Juice with great results (though I have to add Botanicare's CalMag because the AN nutes do seem to be lacking in that area.) Use what works for YOU, AN happens to work the absolute best... for ME, others may be different. I'm not going to defend AN anymore to people who just talk crap because they seen somebody else talk crap about 'em, there are no legit reasons to not at least give AN a try- unless you can't afford it but that isn't AN's problem, it's yours.

If anyone out there can't afford good nutrients, then get a freaking job!!!! (lofl) 'cuz the grow thing obviously isn't workin' out for ya.
    Cheers

Another AN hater who has probably never used their product and is just regurjitating everything he sees on this website because he is unable to make a clear and concise decision in his own. Do the research yourself and stop just repeating what you hear. That just makes you a follower. If you had a side by side grow journal or comparison or some actual facts then maybe people will listen. I have used them for 5 years and have done back to back side by side comparison grows between them and General Hydroponics, Fox Farms, and B.C. and Advanced has won everytime. Doing another 2 harvest test with Dyna in a month and with House and Garden after that.

AN base nutes and GH additives. look at the labels of the additives, they are exactly the same... example AN rhino skin = potassium silicate
dutch master silica gold is a third of the cost and twice as strong.

lol at fatman. youre in the wrong place.

i use the sensi 2 part also, with nirvana flower booster. it works great. I follow the schedule pretty well, which is super easy cause its not much of a schedule at all, but tells you to use the same amount for every week. Anyways, 10 ml per gallon of each part per gallon is perfect, and super easy to measure. 1/2 str first week. last time i bumped it up to like 15-1600 and ended up with a little tip burn. keepin it around 1200 this time like the schedule says.

yeah i was curious about that... i try not to add h2o2 at the same time. but i dont think it destoys all of the nutrients. they aren't all "organic" as in alive, just organic as in all natural.
