Yo that is an ok novice how-to setup but if you just build your own you can spend that $100 on much better parts that will grow more stronger plants such as 5 gallon buckets, large netcups, a magnetic air pump, and water pumps are optional.
Long flexible air diffusers are the best imo so aim for those and a 20w magnetic air pump is around $40 which can easily do 6 5 gallon bucket plants very well.
5 gallons $3 ea.
netcups $1 ea.
air pump $40~50
hydroton ~$20
diffusers and lines ~$20 for 6
there it is 6 bigger plants in their own reservoirs for $100.
pros being everything is in its own reservoir so you can arrange and exchange plants easily, larger reservoir is also closed off so that the plants can have differing nutrients schedules and still sit side by side.
cons being takes more space and more work to refill the res.

just diy it. it will be cheaper, and you will probably learn more about the system when you build it. Spend you money on more beans less plastic. shit even if you have to buy some tools to build it you will at least have a tool that should last you. I am a fan of the 5 gals on multi strain/ multi stage grows. i guess that is my 2 cents for what ever that is worth.
It shouldn't be that hard to grow they do call it weed for a reason.

Marijuana Toker
i bought that a year ago cause i was too busy at work and a hydro nube. I still use it. The first crop i left it in there, kept them really short and only had 3 females so it was ok. Second time after the roots hit the water i moved them to buckets. This crop i have going now is still in it because the roots got tangled before i got aroung to moving them. It will work fine but 6 plant are too many. I have 3 in this grow also and they are too big for the system, i have them tied together to keep them from falling out. Branches bent and twisted all over hell. Build your own. Alot cheaper. My next grow i'm gonna use the res and pumps but i'm gonna use 3 rows of pvc pipe and build something different. Changing out the nutes aint bad, add a drain at the bottom will save some headaches, you can use the pump to drain it or take the top off and dump it. And i stick with 1 strain due to different flower times.

That pump is going to heat up your water....

I started with the Stealth but found the pump and stuff in the res to be a hassle and it does create heat. I had to keep checking it and one netpot or another was getting water or tubes were clogged or something. I ripped it all out and went to the method described in the link below, which has been used by DWC growers for years, and have never looked back. It's the real bubbleponics IMO because it relies on bubbles to power the system, and they do! I use this pump:

im on my first grow using similar system but 4 site.. when the plants are small their good kits but once they get big and i did all diff strains so needless to say i have a staircase of plants. one low one high one medium. tangled roots. other plants taking over the other. blah blah blah.. i will be using 3 or 5 gal buckets for next grow.. bubbleponics is deff where its at though..

I just went out and purchased an air pump 4w, and a bubble bar air stone, and some aquarium silicone. Now does anybody have any suggestions on what water pump I should buy for the drippers? also what size tote?
My grow space is about 2 by 5 feet wide any suggestions.
