I have an auto ak not germinated yet..I am unsure of how to read the labels bc i dont know how much PPM I should be using...http://www.auroralighting.ca/images/...artA_label.jpg
it believe its 5ml of each per gallon.
hey doug
you will want to determine the PPM you want to run the nutes at. It's recommend to get a good quality PPM Meter to use when mixing your nutes. If you don't have access to a meter, just refer to the instructions that on the jugs. They should have the volume needed to add to the corresponding PPM right there on the label. As per your question, in ML per your 5 gal bucket question
So it just comes down to some math. Either converting that charts ml/L number (converting L to gal, this will give you ml/gal) Or convert the enlgish scale on the label from tsps./gal to ml/gal etc.)
I like this site for conversions
If you need help with the math
throw it out there. We can double check your work.

That is a quality response flamdrags..thank you..How should i determine the PPM i should run my nutes at? Did you mean you like this site for the conversions (rollitup) or did you forget to paste the link on? Also, when is the best time to start the sensigrows? Ive herd to start it whne the seedling is in the hydroton and ive herd to start it after the 4th set of leaves. Much appreciated.
Dougie's goin deep
I can't answer that for you per say
there are different takes to it
I am basing my stuff off of the stickies up on top
lots of good stuff there
read that harvest every two weeks and al b facts
even if you choose not to do that method of growing he teaches many basics that are good to know for growing regardless of grow type.
What I see to be a good starting based on all of my research here is to start nutes right away at a low dose of around 150PPM. The other method is to water only at correct PH and then add the nutes when you see good root growth. (instead of just the one main tap root, you should ideally wait until you see multiple vigorous roots) With that I hear around 400 ppm and gradually raise it per 1 or 2 week tanking schedule. Healthy plants in the vegging stage I have seen 1500-1800 PPM being common. While flowering plants I have seen 1400 PPM being common. People adjust the str of nutes and feeding schedule based on conditions of the room, type of nutes, watering schedule (usually based on media type), strain of plant, and other factors not forgeting experience.
Ok so I'm rambling on. Advanced has reccommendations for PPM and feeding on their site as well. Although A common gripe I see from canibus growers is that the companies recommendations are sometimes way off on what is needed etc..
Good luck check out those stickes
Oh ya forgot the conversion things
guess it didn't display the link. I just type metric conversion on my firefox and that site pops up. Try google search for metric conversion or tsp to ml etc. If you need help with the numbers send me a PM

I know EXACTLY how much Sensi Grow you need to add to your ungerminated seeds. ZERO. Plain water....two weeks...That's a good start. That gives you two weeks to get a PPM meter. Either get a meter or buy some soil. Your potential for success here is really low without the meter.

I use a 10 gal ebb & flow and dump about 25-35ml when Veg'n (I only veg couple weeks before flowering) & 50-60ml per 5gal bucket when plants are Flowering. Not a spec of burn or signs of stress, actually the healthiest plants I've ever grown by far (G13 Haze, Violator Kush, Thai Super Skunk, & Pineapple Express going right now using AN's Sensi G/B, AN Big Bud, AN B-52, & Hygrozyme)
Just switched from General Hydroponics to Advanced Nutrients this grow, impressed so far.

Certainly will not be growing with soil..I suppose I should get a meter..What exactly am i measuring PPM, EC, TDS?? Do I measure it after, that doesn't seem to make sense..Thanks guys appreciate all of your inputs..I'll check out the stickes..would this meter suffice? http://cgi.ebay.com/HM-Digital-TDS-E...ht_2047wt_1165
DO I measure the solution after I put the nutes in the reservoir** is what i meant
